Bulb referrals

Don't worry, we haven't sold our souls. Gas Bill Calculator is still a totally impartial, 100% British, energy bill calculator but...If we know a particular energy supplier is awesome why shouldn't we recommend them?
Our journey to recommending Bulb as a great supplier simply involved us switching to them ourself for Electricity and not only have we shaved a third off of our bills but when their prices go down, so do ours.
We think that's pretty good going but there's no relationship with us other than their referral scheme: If you sign up you get £50 free and so do we. You can switch to Bulb here (if you fancy it).
Major website updates and improvements

We've made some sizeable updates to our website to make sure our Gas Bill Calculator looks perfect on all your devices including mobile phones and tablet computers.
Social media links have also been moved around a little and the general look and feel of the site has been improved...Just so it's a little easier on the eye.
We've also removed the comparison page, it wasn't hugely popular and involved a great deal of work to maintain.

Bug Fixed In My Bills

There has been an issue with the saving of bills calculated for logged in users.
The problem meant any gas bills calculated up to 02/04/2015 were not saved under the users account.
This issue has now been fixed.
My Account - My Bills

The new 'my bills' section of the site has now been rolled out.
This new area of the site allows our visitors to save their bills for later reference. This makes it easier to calculate bills on the fly reducing the need to climb under the stairs or root through old bills.
Further improvements are planned for this area of the site over the coming months including bill comparisons and more.
My Bill Tweaks

The my bill page has received some small updates over the past month.
Improving the way data is diplayed by including the bill breakdown with
the total bill figure rather than a separate chart.
This should make it easier for mobile users to read with less scrolling
required.
